The car started off 100% stock when I purchased it two and a half years ago. ItÂs essentially still a road car although has become more and more track orientated as time has gone by.
Other than mapping/paint etc all work has been carried out by me.
The car is now officially SORN and has been taken off of the road as the engine has been pulled out.
In its place I am building a fully forged 2.5 liter variant of the Subaru flat four. The new motor with forged internals should be plenty strong enough to cope with some big boost and hard use. The target is 450 bhp but more importantly over 500lbsft of torque.
Reliability is also a big factor given the cars usage, so I have tried to over engineer as many items on the new build as possible. The new build will also see some suspension changes and possibly a roll cage.
The car has been built by me, for me and is an ongoing "Labour of love"
