Default Upgrade injector install

Hi Guys,

Looking for a bit of advice
I have installed 07 sti blue 565cc injectors in my 2001 wrx bugeye.
I have some up and down movement, maybe 2-3mm, on the injector drivers side nearest the front of the engine.
is this normal? don't like the fact it moves up and down.
I was thinking the o-ring might need replaced to hold it into the rail better but that still leaves me thinking the injector wouldn't be seated in the block properly.

any advice would be ace

cheers

I had injectors fitted on my old blob sti with new o rings. Later found out that one wasn't sealed properly and was leaking petrol everywhere!

Mine wasn't drivers side but sounds similar that when I checked it had movement so in effect wasn't sealed. I replaced with new o rings from ICP and fixed the issue.

Thanks for the reply
yeah think I'm going to change the o-ring and see what happens!
Does anyone know what size of o-ring?
From my googling I've found a few different sizes from ID 8mm OD 12mm to ID 7mm OD 11mm
I have gotten an array of them from my work so will hopefully have the size needed.

Cheers

Have you primed the pump a few times and checked for leaks at all?

Every injector ive ever installed has a little bit if wiggle until the brackets are fastened down.

Yeah I have primed the pump 3 or 4 times, left it over night and the next day I noticed it had been leaking.
I have now replaced the o-ring and it doesn't seem to have that much movement anymore.
Will hopefully manage to get her running this weekend to see if they have properly sealed.

cheers
