Can anyone help , when my car is warm the oil presure light on the gage flashes and beeps oil pressure what could it be it is an subaru sti 2004

Once warm mine sits at 3.

My warning is set to mm above the 2.

Have you checked your oil?? Low or a leak?

I've checked for leak it hasn't got a leaks and it has recently been serviced, is yours an sti bugeye and what oil do u youse

Are you using a control unit with the genome gauges im sure they are the same as defi here is a link to the defi users manual which might help.

where is the sensor fitted

if on sandwich plate at filter, reads low there

mines is 3 bar hot taken from oil pressure switch

I'll have a look I've had a recodtion turbo put in ever since started to do it.

maybe they have used the wrong banjo restristor on the oil pipe

This is good to no as I've got exactly the same low hot idle pressure on my defi gauge and it's defiantly got a sandwich plate on the filter.

I've panicked for a while now and come to the conclusion it was the oil pump which I'm putting a higher pressure one in at cam belt time soon
