Default Re-Mapped now EML on.

Hi Guy's
Had my WRX re-mapped.
As i drove off from the mapping center the EML flashed a few times then went off completely. So i thought all good.
Today the same, flashed for a few seconds but has now stayed on.
Read the fault code and it says engine mis-fire cylinder one.
Was alright before re-map. EML came on once i changed the downpipe to de-cat.
But that has now been corrected with the map.
Any ideas whats happened?
Cheers Dave.

Tell mapper . . .
I have and he says map shouldn't affect it.
He has swithed off EGT and Lambda sensor with regard to the Decat.

Book it in and we would start with swapping coil packs to see if fault moves to another cylinder, but says lots of things can affect it.
So looking for ideas?
Cheers Dave.

So fine before the map, not after? I would suggest the answer is in your own post

Where was it mapped?

Where was it mapped?
Was it a generic plug in and go or set up on rollers/open road?

Guy's
I'm not into slagging off the mapper, as car was set up on rolling road and has made good power with no issues.
Fault cleared down last night and has not re-appeared today.
Will update if it re-appears
Cheers Dave.

Yeah sounds like could be plug gaps, too many people just screw them in as they come!

Well, so far so good, after clearing fault, no re-appearance and car is running excellent.
Cheers Dave.
