wrx no boost and horrible accleration issue HELP
hello all, still trying to figure this out after countless research.
car is an 02 wrx and is stock. The car is throwing a cylinder 2 misfire code but that's all.
What the car is doing is it kinda bucks at low rpm(1000-2500) or so but when it gets around 3200-3500 rpm it basically acts like a fuel cut and just accelerates soooo slow in mph and the rpm climbs very slow and has no power. I also don't hear any turbo spool or anything either(I don't have a boost gauge) The car is for sale at a little dealership and for a reasonable price but they don't know anything about these engines so I would like to find out what it is and fix it. What I have came up with from research are below of my best guesses but feel free if you know what it sounds like.
1.dirty MAF
2.bad coil/plug on cylinder 2(I don't think it would cut off boost though would it)
3.boost leak
4.cat pieces lodged in turbo
also I know they said they had to put a new battery in so maybe it needs an ecu reset but I also noticed at first that the two green plugs under dash were pluged in and I saw that and unplugged those since they don't need to be plugged in.
Im lost though on what it could be doing this thanks.

I don't know about most but I'd be taking a single cylinder misfire very seriously.
Tbh if cars up for sale walk away could get expensive. Probably is coil/plug break down but then you's need a leak down n compression test and if that cylinders let go then it's gunna get very expensive indeed.
That fact it's been driving like that and quiet hard too to try and get some pull hasn't done any favours either
Walk away buddy too many about to choose from to worry about some one else's problem
