map my car? pritty please?
2004 WRX
running on LPG!
LPG gear rated up to about 300BHP
with:
full decat
lightweight flywheel
snorkusectomy
planning:
silicone y pipe
silicone intake pipe
TGV deleat
i currently have a tratrix cable and once i can get it working im planing on adjusting small things like the idle
i would like to remap it myself but id rather not blow up my daily driver.
i dont really want to take my car to someone who then locks my ECU (that sort off thing really dose my head in)
id also like to be able to run 2 maps as the LPG could do with a little more ignition Dwell and a different timing curve (not just a strait timing pull)
is anyone up to the task?

This thread is about remapping my car. It's got nothing to do with the pros and cons off removing the snorkus
I have done research aswell and made the choice to do it. It's stated information for any potential mappers. Not for people to bitch about it

With the user name Josh nosh
Sounds like he's noshed on a few to many snorkels himself haha
Your airbox is good for 400 so don't attempt to replace it
Introduce yourself first next time it's a good way to start

This is the pathetic **** that makes me rude in the first place. Been on various forums over then years and been a mod. Never seen such poor and unhelpful responses outside off this forums. Unfortunately I can't ask on nasioc as I'm not driving to the USA to get my car mapped
Sorry if I took it the wrong way but to me that's not advice just criticism.
And steave if you read, it's not a replacement. I'm fully satisfied with the current airbag I just wanted to remove the silencer.

The evidence is all on this thread. There was absolutely no need to reply rudely the way you did. Totally unnecessary and out of order, regardless of what was in the polite informative reply to your post.
You've shown everyone quote clearly what kind of person you are by your replies.
I stand by my comment, I seriously doubt you'll get anyone offering a reply or any help to your posts if you continue in this manner.
Totally uncalled for.
Scoobynet may have it's arguments and keyboard jockeys but on the whole there are some very friendly and helpful people on here that will go out of their way to help other nice people.
