Default MAF/Air flow reading

I have a quick question ref an air flow reading!

My car had a few issues, which we suspected was down to the MAF. No CEL was showing so we checked the air flow reading, which was between 8-9g at idle. Is this low? I am no guru when it comes to airflow/mapping/fueling etc. but a lot of stuff on the forums pointed towards 11-11.5!

Car is a 2004 JDM STI, mapped by Andy Forrest with 345bhp/360ftlbs.

I believe you are confusing MAF (airflow) and O2 sensor (air/fuel ratio) readings.

As above. 11-11.5 will be referring to AFR's not inlet airflow at the MAF.
