Obviously in some instances a STI with 30% more power can't be a match for a WRX

Hence my WRX's 12.6 with 330bhp and fat-toms STI's 12.8 with 430bhp

So sometimes I actually undersell the WRX.

You've certainly got low 12's on a budget!

Tom spend nigh on 15k getting his 12.8

Your mate claimed you bought it with 430bhp. I have no idea of the power levels when you purchased your car. I expect we'll never know due to your contradicting posts.

All I know is your car in principal proves my theory of the WRX being a far more efficient car. In fact it goes as far as making my calculations look less favourable for the WRX. The 600bhp STI I posted recording a 12.0 doesn't especially help my observations either.

You mean fawor, who like you has no idea of the spec of my car,
How does an sti running a 12.8 with 260 bhp prove your theory as you needed 70 bhp more to get a 12.6
All that proves is the sti is the faster car, but everyone knows that already.

Under a grand.

I know that if I came out of retirement, as it were, I'd beat you in a head to head race.

If I couldn't do it in my car, I'd beg for another go of a certain yellow 8 second classic.

At 460bhp an average STI driver will be spinning, hitting the limiter, struggling to shift accurately and efficiently.
What an absolute

Enough if this tosh it's time you were the sole occupant of my ignore list.

His knowledge of you certainly was an eye opener.

He knew several things you initially denied but I found to be true by reading your back posts.

Did you buy the car off him or something? as he seems to know you better than you know yourself.

Yes I bought a pre modded 430 bhp sti from an Immigrant who can't speak English and drives a wrx before he joined the site then proceeded to map it to 350 bhp then take off all the parts that are needed to run mid 400 bhp then re buy the parts again from here and refit them again........about as far fetched as your wrx claims to be fair!

I'm certainly the **** of the forum.

I've change the game. The WRX is now the car to have. It's incontrovertible, you need upwards of 450bhp to be sure that you're going to beat that certain "poverty spec" car that rolls up next to you at the lights. At 450-600bhp kiss goodbye to having fun in 1st, 2nd and maybe 3rd gear, especially in the wet.

A 450bhp STI rivalling 370/350 WRX is a very forgiving machine, even in the snow.

matt i.ve never heard of a successful install with a tdo6 hotside on a 2.0 unless you like boost at circa 5k ,even too laggy on a drag spec car I,d say.

cant really beat a 20g for all round ability and price mate
