As above got one of these fitted to my blob.. for some reason soon as hit 400/400 on rollers the clutch started slipping??? Bought it second hand but had a bit left on the plates.. any ideas?

You have said it for yourself,Exedy twin plate do not come with alot of material on them anyway and need to be bedded in properly before proper use,I am guessing your one was not by the previous owner,as 9 times out of 10 that is definitely the cause for a slipping Exedy clutch twin plate or not.Worst case scenario a new set of plates.SJ.

Don't carbon clutch plates need some heat I before they grip properly?

Was on dyno for over a hour mate.

Ah ok, it's just a friend has a carbon twin plate and he has to slip it like mad before it'll launch properly.

Not sure mate its running just under your 400 of each atmosphere going to give it some stick over Xmas see what happens

It's already used clutch tho so.. think will do a few launches and screw it a bit over Xmas see what happens 😆

Last owner of it probably used it lightly and glazed it hence maybe why it was removed.
