Super Mario Day
I'm not a big gamer but I do love a bit of Mario, fantastic that Nintendo have started writing native apps. I remember being laughed at here for predicting the impact of the iPhone on gaming, it was obvious to most.

I'd expect it around 6pm UK.

Speaking of iOs gaming, have you tried Zwift on the iPad? It's fantastic.

The mario game is licensed specifically for the iOS and comes directly from Nintendo by what I'm aware of.

I've just blown my toy money on a new Paragliding Harness, I would love a Turbo but it's hard to justify when going out riding is pretty easy for me.

iOS makes it way more awesome for me as I already mount my iPhone on the bars.

The fact it's available on Windows (and Mac OS) is completely immaterial given the thread is about gaming on iOS.

i think the gist of the thread is the notion/gloating that apple (iPhone) can steal away Gameboy market !

I think you're reading far to much into it
Besides, what Gameboy market? Nintendo have all but disappeared from the portable gaming sector.

That happened in 2008 when the App Store came out, you could see the potential via Jailbreak in 2007. I'm not sure if Nintendo are geniuses or not by waiting so long.

The game is designed to be as simple as possible with the ability to play with one hand. Nintendo are very good at it. Saying all you can do is jump shows ignorance, you can do much more, if you'd said it's all one button then that's true and as designed.

Nope genuine comment, if you want to get your fix of retro gaming on a tablet then Sonic is the way to go. Either that or most of the more recent Grand Theft Auto games are available these days.

Good game but there's no sound on my iPhone 7, I've tried restarting my device, deleting the game and reinstalling but still nothing.
I hope they sort it out soon.
