Impressive work indeed! I've just purchased a classic green Impreza Turbo 2000 that is in superb order inside & out but I'm sure it would benefit hugely from a internal/external detail. I'm in Hampshire which is hardly local but are you able to offer any advice re. Impreza paint quality/hardness etc...? Many thanks!

I've only had the car for a couple of weeks but plans are starting to take shape. I'd like to keep the car pretty much standard mechanically but make tasteful cosmetic enhancements. I'm going to wash, clay & carefully inspect the bodywork this weekend & then I'll have a better idea of the true state of the bodywork.....

Sometimes the bodywork looks worse than it is
I remember seeing a PB thread about a mk1 golf. Guy wanted to do a full respray on it and PB got their hands on it amazing job
I'm Sure after seeing some of bodski work you won't be regretting it

Thank you - I really appreciate the offer! I have a DA polisher & I'm going to wash & clay the bodywork before a light machine polish with Meguiars 205 to emphasise the gloss. I'll then apply a couple of coats of Dodo Juice 'Blue Velvet' hard wax. I'll report back with progress!

Cheers! So far, so good. The minor scuffs, tar spots & a dirty film of 'gritty' brown cr@p have been clayed away & the light polish with Meguiars 205 is removing all but the most stubborn marks (e.g. stone chips & a few light scratches). I'm resisting the urge to get stick in with the Meguiars 105 at this stage... 😊

All depends on what the condition is like now and what protection you'd be looking at putting on the paintwork post machine polishing.
Anything from £... for a basic enhancement detail with a single stage of machine polishing and a basic wax or sealant. Up to £... for a ceramic glasscoat which would give you 2-3 years protection from the application.

Now's the time to take advantage of our special offer winter protection package.
Wheels cleaned and iron fallout removed, wheel arches cleaned.
Lower parts of the vehicle pre washed with citrus based prewash. Rest of the vehicle snowfoamed, detailing brushes used to access all those hard to reach areas.
Extensive two bucket wash process.
Iron and tar deposits removed from vehicle.
Rinsed with filtered water and dried with hot air blowers.
