Question

..so that's it's to-hand (should there be an emergency need for a large heavy torch), but won't roll under the brake pedal? Or, even worse, the loud pedal!!! I have one of those little belt-holsters for it, which I was plannnning on attaching to the car somewhere for a quick draw.

My front footwells are rapidly filling up - extinguisher, lifehammer, torch (somewhere)...

I fitted a fire extinguisher of similar size to the front lower edge of the driver’s seat. The extinguisher came with a large spring clip. I mounted the clip off a small piece aluminium bolted to the underside of the seat. Fits neatly.

Mine sits between the console and passenger seat. A nice snug fit.

I've only got a 3-cell, which sits in the glovebox, but I'm thinking of mounting it above the drivers door for easy access. You never know when you'll need that torch to light the way

Unhappy

I've got a 4 cell which I managed to drop onto my big toe 3 weeks ago resulting in no toenail and a fracture! My fault for not having any shoes on.

You'll be out of the World up then?!!

I went for Paul PG's between the console and passenger seat. It does fit in nicely there. And...emergency passenger footwell lighting!

Cheers,
Ratman
