I play unreal well used to a lot. not been able to play C/S since that new patch god knows why, not had chance to mess about and get it working.

 

Yep, I often float around on the BaslerQuaker DM1 server and the clan-noc server, both good sites as they've finally got round to cheat protection...

 

Yeah - The 'jolt' UK servers are pretty good!

 

I'm the daddy of UT and will personally kick all your asses. ;-)

 

I used to play a lot, but haven't touched it for a couple of months now. I run a UT CTF server, but with over 100mb's up maps, mods and mutators to download, it is pretty well a private server
Beats Camper-Strike anyways...

Its very fast I think the game speed is 120% and you will need a fat connection to download all the custom maps and voicepacks but its worth it.
You will find me under the name of [Core]Johnson also one of the other players in Core runs the other Subaru BBS.
Mark Khan plays under the name of [Core]Warrior
Pete Holt is [Core]Wayland

Have played UT since day zip, am currently having one of my UT holidays though as thoroughly bored with it (this happens at least once a year).

Still better than bot ridden camper strike though

If im ever to be found will probably be on the chicken server.

Damn, why can't our ADSL be as good as the US? I would happily pay $160 a month to be able to upload at 2mbps. You could run some luuuuurvely servers off of that

Question : Do people mind if you just jump into any game ?

Cause whenever you load up an address it shuvs you straight into the game.

Anyone ever been told to pi55 off ????

 

Tips guys :

1)be careful when joining Clan servers (usually you can tell by the server name in the game browser if its a clan server, then look at whos playing on it, if the whole clan area on there - u can usually tell as they have similar names, or if its two clans waring then i wound't go on it - as u shouldn't be able to connect anyway and if you did they would kick u off)...

2)public servers are fine to join (these are servers with public or open in the name, you can usually tell because there will be players with random names on there with no large amount of similar clan players on there).

3)dont typekill* or lame** ...

* = typekill is killing a player when they are typing a message, you can usually tell this as the game character has his hand to his head and isnt shooting

** = things like piston punting the FC, sniping respawn areas, pistoning at portals and message spamming.

4)practice/ learn off the others who are playing - learn by watching what they do

the ones ranging from 8100-8140 are 1vs1 ladder servers which range from CTF-CTFM-Insta-DM-etc...
