Angry

I'm gutted.Put the Scoobysport downpipe on my MY01 this weekend and leaned against the front wing to get the turbo heatshield off and this caused a little dent in my front drivers side wing.
Last night I decided to take the wheel/inner wheel arch lining off and get at the dent from the inside of the wing.Well,I 've completely fcuked it now cos the paint has cracked. Before people start upsettin me more (Please don't cos I do feel really **** today and wanna try and get it sorted!!!) and tellin me I shoulda left it,Can anyone put my mind at ease a little?
I suspect it may need to be painted and re-lacquered as I've phoned Dentmasters and they can't do repairs on cracked paintwork.
Anybody know any good paintshops/repairers in the Warrington area or offer any further advice? ie Will it need re-painting?

Thanks in advance!

Nick

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
Post

it will need repainting as the water will get in the crack and rust it behind the paint...

Shouldnt cost much to get sorted... get it in for a service then blame the garage.

Nick mate, i too have had a similar problem needing a wing painting. If its only a small dent then you will only need to blow over a small area so no-one would know, not even subaru. If you go and tell them and they say they must repair it then youll get stung for a big bill subaru style. Let us know what you think cos i know a few good bodyshops in Widnes/St Helens, pretty cheap too.
Cheers Ad.
