My Fuel tank level seems to have Stuck.

I noticed today having been for a drive that after the ignition had been turned off the fuel level needle remained at half tank ? Tried turning off igntion and back on but to no avail. Filled her up to the maximum and the needle now shows full - however the needle still doesn't return to 0 after ignition has been turned off it stays at the maximum position ? All the other counters in the HUD work fine.

Anyone got any ideas ?

 

Supposed to do that, the only time they go to empty is when they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! empty that is!

 

Thanks Ron - Prob. seemed like a lame question - but cheers for the reply. In my defence I thought that once the ignition was turned off, the scoobs fuel level needle was also turned off and returned to the bottom that is until you restart the car and then the fuel level returns to the level thats in the tank - can't you just tell that I have only recently bought a Scoob.
