when are they ever going to sort those rail tracks out? every year a incident like this happens!

 

We kill many, many, many more in our cars each year!!

true.. but trains are on tracks!

 

4 people die on the railways and £8bn is going to be spent on installing systems and upgrading track to increase safety.

4 people die on the roads and £100K is spent to buy a speed camera that will not contribute anything to sorting out safety on the roads.

Any accident is tragic, but the number of poeple that die on the railways is almost insignificant compared to other means of transport.

I dont think the people whose loved ones have died in a rail crash would appreciate the term "insignificant".
