I have considered alternating it between a thursday and friday on a monthly basis.

 

Can we please alternate between venues?

 

I agree with Colin... different venues!!!! This was always the original plan.

As stated, day only at this time. Might consider other venues, then again, might not. Badgers Mount is probably the only other place near enough that has the capacity we need, thus it makes it very different to change venues. If you do have ideas for other venues them please email them to me (venue@markuswarren.co.uk) rather than post them up here.

 

Is this the "official" or "unofficial" meet ?

Thursday or Friday is fine by me as I normally can't make either of 'em, but I'm gonna make a special effort this month!!

What do you mean about not considering other venues??? Your efforts with organisation are appreciated by us all but why can't other venues be considered???

And the issue of being 'near enough' is relative to where you live, some people travel a considerable distance to go to the Woodman and it would be nice if we went their way sometimes.

As for the numbers, we are not coach loads, most pubs can cater for a few cars surely.

There are some good pubs on the Medway, ideal for the summer. Its not nr where I live tho

We do go to other locations during the month - Sussex etc. and they return the compliment.

The problem with numbers is that it can vary from 10 people to 30 - not everyone can confirm beforehand so just turn up on the night.

I don't think Markus has a problem with changing the venue for another date, it's just too soon to have to do this now for the next meet (Markus, correct me if I'm wrong here).
