slight whine in second gear

Hi,

I have a MY95 and have a slight whine in second gear its not overly loud and goes away after about 3000rpm.... does this sound familiar to anyone else.. all the other gears are fine...

I get a whine on my MY99 too and its done it for 52k miles (since new).
