Just received an Email saying I have been offered a place, anybody else received one this morning?

Quite a nice thing to receive this morning considering I had completely forgotten I had even applied.

I got a mail this morning too !!! All booked in for PM on 1st June at Brands !!!

Edited to say that they do have Sun 2nd June but REMEMBER thats the 1st England game in the World Cup !!

Dream Weaver, if you already own an MR2 you WON'T get in! A whole lot of MR2 owners wrote into the MR2 forums a while ago complaining that they weren't invited to the last Toyota on Track day (me included!). The theory back then was that Toyota simply see us as 'sure things', already converted and therefore feel no need to splash out on tempting our custom. Grrr....

Cheers C, I thought about this, however....I own a 1994 MR2, and they should be trying to push me to buy the new shape version. It would be easier for them to sell to current MR2 owners because we know how great the cars are, how reliable they are and so on.

It would be far more difficult for them to sell to a current Impreza owner. As it is, I will never get to drive a new Celica or MR2 so my next car will probably be an Impreza.

Hopefully Toyota will read this and take note. And next time, I will put my current car down as a Fiat panda or something

I currently own a Renault Clio 1.2 so I wonder if that has anything to do with why I got a place? Pretty sure it is down to age as well as my girlfriend applied but she is only 24 so I guess they only want people who are 25 and over???

fuuny that, the 2 people I know who got in probably would have had pretty crappy cars on their entries 1 - a KA the other probably a metro!

The irony of me not getting in is that I may just have bought an MR2 as well, however my thoughts have since been sent in other directions, but a trip round the track in an MR2 may have got me back on the toyota way of thinking;-)
