I think it's got to move back up North though,probably somewhere like Carlisle or Newcastle would be a good base giving a day in N.Yorks the Lakes and Scotland :D
It's more likely however to move either back to Chester or Telford and utilise the North & Mid Wales stages again, cos after all we can't have the 'Suits' travelling all that way from London just for a Handshake & a Buttie :D :rolleyes:

Whatever happens lets just pray that its moved from it's present 5hithole

You come from NW england and you call Cardiff a 5hithole. Pretty rich that. Blackpool , now theres a real dive, complete with turd ridden water. Nice.

Sorry Chip,I did'nt mean that Cardiff itself is a 5hithole although it does have its dives and dickheads just like any other city, my reference was supposed to be aimed towards the Forests and the route the rally uses in it's present format,although after spending the weekend around Kielder watching the BRC, I am now questioning why people speak so highly (Including myself)of the place in rallying folklaw because the general stage access & surrounding facilities leaves a lot to be desired.

I hope it does not go to Newcastle after the problems with the Pirelli rally and all the thefts that happened, one crew lost 2 vans and all there tools and spares another crew who is well known on here for servicing Subaru’s in the Warrington area lost there gravel car, trailer and Shogun and then the Pirelli artic show tuck was stolen plus many more incidents.

Spread it out a bit, it'll reduce congestion and make the stages a little more intetresting with lots of different scenery.

Isn't there some rule about they can only change so much of it from year to year (10% or so)???

And whats wrong with Wales? we've got some of the best stages in the country.

Yeah granted, they're probably the best gravel stages in the world IMHO but Wales is a big place with lots of Forests and types of gravel, get it back up to Mid & North wales and I for one will be very happy again :D

I've been pretty impressed with Cardiff - good stages in a relatively compact area and a good modern city.
