I had to (for my sins!! ) fill up in a BP in Slough yesterday - NUL 74.9 SUL 86.9! So I'm with Steve - how can they justify this huge difference?

At least the BP near where I live are doing it at 81.5p.

Cool

Yes, it's true. Anyone who drives along the A14 near Kettering will know that there's an Esso garage with a McDonalds on the eastbound carriageway.
This garage has always been the cheapest I've ever found, but now it's really shining.
NUL is just 75.8ppl.
SUL is an amazing 76.7ppl!!!
LRP comes in at 78.5ppl.
So, if anyone's passing through......
Anyone know of any cheaper?

Stef.

72p for SUL at Total garage, Watford!

I asked them why the prices are low and they said that they were starting to compete with the supermarkets.

My local Texaco which has always been regarded as one of the cheapest in the area is selling NUL @ 72.3/litre,fair doos
but get this;SUL is 91.9!!!!

Now a little difference I can understand, but 20p a litre. What the hell's going on???

Price isn't my main worry - went into my local Total station last week, where I've been buying SUL for 3+ years, and they've changed both the SUL pumps to DIESEL!!!
-No Demand-.......???

SteveC,

That'll be because of all the Scooby owners switching to 330D's.

Mark,

I have used Morrisons NUL (no SUL at Norwich), and was quite impressed with it.

AFAIK, the petrol is supplied by Texaco (but a different blend?).

Anyone got the cheapest price on SUL in Middx (or west London).

Esso on the Cowley road (near Uxbridge) is 75.9 for NUL and 80.1 for SUL.

Cheapest SUL I have seen locally.....

AS per comment earlier SUL pumps seem to be few and far between. But not to far from Kettering so I'll have to nip over at the weekend and check out the price as per Steff's suggestion

Pinner Esso 77.9
Stanmore Esso 75.9

BP a total ripoff.
The one next to me has had the SUL pumps taped up since before xmas and the other ones are in xs of 85p. If you can get the attendant to get off his **** and press the button to turn the pump on that is!
