Dear all,

Hope someone will be able to help me.

I have recently bought some Morettes from TSL (excellent service). They are being painted and fitted on Monday - can't wait!!.

I wanted to change the bulbs to brighter units and ordered some PIAA Extreme whites - H4 for dipped beam unit and H1 for main beam unit. The bulbs arrived today. Changed the H4's with no problems, but the H1's are completely different. The actual bulb is the same, it is the housing / casing which is different. Both bulbs do have H1 written on them, althought the originals also say H2. H2 is also quoted in all the fitting instructions. Puzzled? - so am I as I can't find any reference in any catalogue / website to H2 bulbs.
Needless to say they do not fit and unfortunately will have to go back.

Has anyone with Morettes changed the bulbs in the H1 units? If so:
-What bulbs did you fit?
-What wattage do they produce?
-Where did you get them from?

Can anyone shed any light (ha!! ha!!) on the existence of H2 bulbs?

All help and advice greatly received.

Many thanks

Simon

H2's are in the Demon Tweeks performance catalogue. Not a lot of choice for manufacturers though (at least in the catalogue). Ring standards are the only ones they list.

This http://www.talbotco.com/bulbs.htm will help you identify which bulbs you have/need.
