I've just bought a 98 sport and would like to improve the handling. Would just lowering it be ok? or is it best to replace shocks and springs. What sort of money are we talking and were are they available up here in Yorkshire.

Not sure about the lowering but couldn't resist asking if have u a GasGas 300 enduro bike?
I've had a 2001 for 15 months now and it rocks.. had the 250 before which revs quite a bit more but the 300 is easier to ride.
I'm riding the Fast Eddy Race series at Trentham gardens this Sunday, this time I will win a prize........

Sorry no help again,
But could not resist, I've not ridden for a while but have a Yamaha WR250k. Have ridden British and Scottish Enduro Champs for years, + the ISDE in Portugal 2000. Also as an out rider in Finland 96 and France 2001.
Can't bring myself to sell the bike and gear.
Maybe we should start a thread somewhere else (who has an Enduro bike here)
Once again sorry this is no use in answering your query.

Gasgas.. sadly I have no clue on ace motorbikes..;).. but we have fitted probably 50 0r so Sports with Eibachs and alignment including one or two for a VERY well known main dealer.. The difference it makes to the feel of the car is literally like night and day.
Funnily enough, the aforementioned dealer found sales of Sports significantly increased after demo cars were "Eibached"..... probably just a coincidence tho.. ;)
