Seen a few posts on here about them but I have no idea what they are/do.

Thanks for any info.

Adds some caster which helps turn in, keeps the tyres better aligned for traction on the way out of corners too. The stiffer bushings obviously have less play, so feed back is better, as is response to steering inputs.

They can be noisy though...

Are they available for an MY01?

...and due to the modified pick up points, resists the "lift" that is generated at the front end under power, hence ALK.... ;):)

Matt :)

P.S. I like it a lot!!!! :D:D:D

The current shape takes this one: KCA 359

Please note my comment is about the competition bush - there is now a more compliant version (lots quieter), but I drive a Legacy, so may be more accustomed to quiet ;)

Noisy is not the right word (IMHO). What you get is a lot more feel through the steering (which I really like) and you can really feel what the front end is doing. The downside of this is of course a little more harshness but not much.

I'm seriously thinking about the Anti-Lift kit on my new STi when it arrives and if nothing else, I'm likely to change the front suspension arm bushes to try and get this "feel" back.

Matt :)

AJBblokechap,

I didn't get any joy out of your link but this one (http://www.whiteline.com.au) seems to work....

Oops - sorry matt - forgot the ".au" bit

I can defo suggest the ALKs for the new STi too - drove one with those and some drop-links and the car was even better than I expected!! :D Flipping awesome it was!!!

I have to say that the RA Spec C was even better tho - less weight, even more caster at the front, faster rack, mean tyres - WOW - but you've gotta make do with whatcha can get. IMHO the std STi is plenty for day to day and light track work - and yes, I want one!! (but the McIntosh audio is too nice to give up ;) )

ENJOY!! :D:D:D

Exactly what suspension mod's did this car have? What are these "drop-links"? Had the ALK on my MY00 GC. Thinking of getting it for my current MY01 STI RA.

tks!
