Mike, thanks for arranging all this....Kath still thinks name tags would have been good

Highlights for me were all the non-scoobs that turned up. Nice to see a variety of cars and owners sharing info

Just four piccies of my favourites on the day......

Low Flying Object's Caterham. Sorry I never caught up with you dude, by the time we realised you were there, we were about to head off. Couldn't bring myself to walk round shouting out if anyone had seen a low flying object Car looked very nice Have to arrange a passenger flight on another meet

I nearly parked on top of this because I thought the car park space was empty This looked absolutely mint. Anyone know who owns it? I want one.....Kath has said, 'I can see you in one of those' and is happy for me to get one. Just need the cash (and a sensible car to go with it ) If the owner is reading, was it a self build, bought second hand, factory built? Looking for info on these so anything you can give will be great What engine did you have in it?

Love this EVO

And finally, hands up anyone who didn't love this skyline? Thought not

Hanslow, the Westfield (second pic) was driven by "DaveUK300".

Have a look for his posting on some Worcester related threads in the Midlands section and it may have his email address.

(It couldn't keep up with me, though... )

Hanslow,

I am glad the skyline was appreciated, wasn't too sure to invite Rupert ( the owner ), but it went down very well ( Oh and I enjoyed the stares driving into the car park in it as well )

All in all an excellent day out, felt very deflated driving home...

Regards,

Paul

Paul - We spotted you on our way there... You were sat behind that big truck at the petrol station.

We were in the convoy of scoobs/Elise/Westie/EVO admiring the Skyline.

Dave - I've been taken for a wizz-bang ride around Kingswinford in one of the Westfield 1600 CVH demonstrators a few years back. I can only imagine the sensation when yours is up & at 'em!

Squizz,

We had been expecting to see loads of Scoobs on the way there, but until the petrol station no one...

Then all you guys come flying along - and we nearly pushed that bloody truck out of the way, idiot wouldn't pull out...

That would have made an impressive convoy

Fab day !

Paul

Thanks for the info chaps

Just got back from holiday in Cumbria. Both car and self are tired out (although I think the car is faring somewhat better ).

Whilst walking up a mountain, was discussing kit cars with the missus, and when she has finished paying for her current car, and we have moved house, she wants to go halves on a kit car and build it together

Me, I'm off to order a load of brochures

Hanslow,

Mines the Westie in the second pic.......had a problem on the morning with my scoob and at the last minute decided to take the westie instead - glad I did - you only appreciate it on days like that - guaranteed

Specs for it are, Westfield Speedsport SEi, 2 Litre Raceline Zetec developing around 200bhp, quickshift, front and rear ARB's, LSD, V8 style bonnet - more than enough for a bit of fun Self build using new parts from Westfield hence the non Q plate. Cost - way over budget but then once you start!

I'd recommend getting one - book a visit to the factory (speak to Simon Westwood or Holly Bond) and you'll get a test drive aswell - your bound to be hooked.

Dave

Squizz.........you cheeky bugger, I'm still running it in

Trouser,

I think that there is a big truck somewhere wondering where his turbo has gone ...

The TSL cars were stars as well, very nice !

Hopefully next time the limiters will be off so we can accompany everyone on the little 'exploration of the countryside' !

Regards,

Paul
