Can anybody post me pictures of their scooby with driving lights fitted? I have a MY99 STI Type-R and am thinking of fitting driving lights, but am not 100% sure about the look. I quite like the STI light covers. Could you also give me info on where you got them from, prices and how easy they were to fit?. Do they fill the hole well or are there gaps?

Any help is appreciated,

Craig.

Craig,

Here's mine with PIAA's.

Unfortunately, you can't fit any of the STI covers over them You could colour code the PIAA covers and stick some STI logos on them. Doesn't look as good though IMHO.

Lightbulb

Had the Scoobysport Cibies on my Catalunya.
http://www.iwoc.co.uk/catalunya.html

Found them to be very good although I did go through 2 bulbs in the 2 years I had them (not bad I suppose for a tiddly little bulb and 130W output each)

There is no way that the STi covers will fit though due to the parabolic reflector and being much deeper than the fogs they replaced.

Thanks for the replies guys,

Ozzy, your picture was very helpful as my STI Type-R is the same colour.

Cheers,

Craig.

I fitted PIAAs to my MY98, used the standard covers but colour-coded them and added STi logos for the full effect. See what you think....

Cheers Tony,

Your covers look fantastic!! Where did you get the STI logo's from? It looks a lot better than I'd guessed it would.

Craig,

You could get the Scoobymania Cibie Oscars as they retain the Sti Covers

I had a signwriter make them up for me - cost about a tenner for 4 pairs, but this was some time ago. You can get them from Grahama Goode, but they cost a lot more.

Instructions for how to do the colour-coding yourself are on the website.
