Anybody heard that Colin McCrae is considering amputating his finger in order to compete in the forthcoming Rally (of Spain?)!!!!

I know Michael Schumacher has amputated his personality and Richard Burns has amputated his charisma but isnt a finger a bit extreme??????

I think the idea is that they will bound his finger up and change the gear lever to the other side for the next rally. They will only amputate his finger if it dosn't heal properly.
