Hi,

I've just had my boot delocked.

I took the SUBARU badge off the back a while ago as I prefer the look without it, but that 'orrible cheap looking lock just had to go too. So I've had it removed for the sake of looks, security and symmetry.

What do you reckon?

cheers

Rich

Nice,....

How much did that cost, and I presume it needed a full boot respray?

How do you get in to it if the boot release fails?

£100+VAT and yes, the boot and spoiler were resprayed at the same time.

He's welded a little plate in behind where the lock was and then filled it. You can't tell there was ever a lock there.

Rich

P.S. Fullonloon, I've got the split folding rear seats m8.

Cheers Rob,

Peccy,

It's a 6 m8, I think it looks better than the smooth topped 5.

Cheers

Rich

Cheers folks.

You can see more of the beast in question in this month's Banzai magazine where I clocked 318bhp!

Cheers

Not yet, but at least I know what it is now.

The pads are rattling around as the shims aren't holding them in tight enough.

Not quite bedded in properly yet but I drove my brother's car today with his standard 2 pots then jumped in mine and nearly broke my nose on the steering wheel. The difference is phenomenal.

Oh, sorry those APs are sold now I'm told.

Cheers

Rich
