Anyone had the Subaru grooved disc and mintex pad upgrade available from the main dealers (£700 approx)

 

No, but that seems a right rip-off if you ask me. For another couple of hundred quid you can have a Hi Spec Monster 4 brake kit with seperate alloy bells and 310mm discs, 4 pot cnc machined billet ally calipers!!

Either that or speak to Ian at Godspeed and save a fortune..

Scotty, what is the Subaru grooved disc and Mintex pad upgrade? It can hardly be worse than standard, but the official Subaru/Prodrive upgrade for 16in wheels is a grooved Alcon disc with Ferodo DS2000 pads.

Please clarify.
