18' on New STI : really better ?

Searching for new wheels for my STI, I see that there is only a few choice in 17'.
Well, I see that most of you are changing for 18'but, apart the better look, what is the benefit ? Someones are saying that the agility will no be as good as with the 17'.
What is your opinion and your experience ? Thanks to all.
