My god, what a difference!! As suggested by Pete Croney the 48 offset adds more weight to the steering and at last there is stability at speed, no more wandering from lane to lane. Most importantly of all the ride quality actually appears to be better than it was previously. I thought I'd be crashing over potholes and generally shaking my fillings loose, but the ride is great.

Toyos on as well in case you were wondering, which look funky and seem to have a shedload of grip. Can't wait to get them properly scrubbed in.
