Here was i thinking just how great my car is and how much im enjoying it, when i came across the enclosed, needless to say i NEED one :-

Introducing the new twin-engined Z100 and Z100WR.

The Z100, developed in association with Z Cars is fitted with two 900cc Kawasaki ZX9 engines, power is delivered to the 225x15" rear tyres via a bespoke transfer box. The transfer box not only combines the drive from the two engines but also provides a reverse gear.

At a recent magazine shoot-out, the Z100 achieved a 0 to 60mph time of 3.11 seconds and a 0 to 100 to 0 time of 12.5 seconds.

Once development work had been completed on the Z100, the four wheel drive Z100WR was put in to development. For the WR, twin 1200cc Kawasaki ZX12 engines were used, each producing approximately 190bhp.

In November 2001, the Z100WR posted a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a 0 to 100 mph time of 6.3 seconds.

I saw an article about this a couple of months ago in Evo, apparently it is blisteringly quick, but a bit dodgy in the handling department.
Oh yeah, and it was developed and built by a Traffic Copper!

The Z100 is currently sitting in my garage at home - after driving it I soon realised how slow the RA is and how poor the brakes are!

Why dont they use 2 GSXR 1000 engines, perhaps lightly turbocharged?

Wink

There is something similar with two Blade engines (900cc each), or two Blackbird engines (1100cc each) or the mother of them all two Huybusa engines (1300cc each)...

I want one....
