View Full Version : Car Crime - Out of Control & Group Security Buy scooby_si 04 March 2002, 22:16 i fancy a blackjack jobby but cant find any sites etc any1 got any 2 hand? Si Moles Dad 04 March 2002, 22:16 I have a friend from South Africa, over there car jacking is a huge problem...one of the devices they use is a timer device which (uses a hidden switch) cuts the fuel supply after mile or so if the car is driven away without deactivating. Probably quite easy to create if you are a soldering iron type(?) Cheers,(shotgun ready)MD. mattski2 05 March 2002, 10:31 With what's currently going on I am *amazad* there haven't been more responses than this... maybe we should spend some of our 'mods' fund on security kit... sigh. Matt. http://www.world-data-systems.com/rb5/smallrb5side.jpg Thegrimreaper 05 March 2002, 10:37 going back to the blackjax topic i have got blackjax on my car, it works really well all you have to do is key in the code when you get in the car and start to drive, if anyone demamds the keys hand them over and you can rely on the fact they will get down the road and when they next slow to a safe speed the engine will die sounding the alarm and flashing all the lights in the car. i think it is well worth it for not alot of money Elvis Presley 05 March 2002, 10:44 Talk to me about a smoke system. It sounds like an interesting solution. Does the car fill with smoke or just let out a blue cloud to suggest it's stolen? Luke 05 March 2002, 10:52 Remember the Poll tax riots???? That was the last time the Goverment took notice of the public opinion ( The Rioting side was out of order) Put over 4 million people in a mass march in London and millions doing the same in other cities across England TELLING THE GOVERMENT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Stop the Country for a few days. No schools no work etc. Tell them they have 3. months to bring in new laws. They will only do it when they are forced. MattN 05 March 2002, 13:29 Luke stop the country? - didn't work for fuel prices did it. The only thing that brought fuel prices down were the Taliban. Sad but true. scooby_si 05 March 2002, 20:26 Mr Reaper where did u get yer blackjack from i can't find the buggers anywhere? Si Harry_Boy 05 March 2002, 22:51 ScoobySi - Try Max the Clifford dealer at Maximum Impact in Leeds on 0113 244 1448. No connection - just a really happy (and impressed) customer! scooby_si 05 March 2002, 23:21 Ar cunning just found the clifford web site for the UK on http://www.clifford.co.uk/home.html so i'm guna call sum dealers of a local nature see what they say. Out of interest thou looking at the packages does any1 no if u can just fit blackjax with the current system you might have? Si Thegrimreaper 06 March 2002, 01:05 sorry for the delay, my blackjax came from sound city on 01444 474444, Sideways 06 March 2002, 08:08 Sorry guys I do agree but whats going on with some peoples posts here ? some are in April and May ????? scooby_si 06 March 2002, 08:19 They've obviously been driving their cars tooooo quickly & managed to go forward in time;) lol. Si Thegrimreaper 07 March 2002, 00:46 just out of interest i have spoken to the guy who i mentioned above for blackjax and possibility of a bulk deal but unfortunately i didnt have a chance to get the details of him as he was busy and i had to shoot off to work, i will try and get more details if anyone is interested, i dont know yet how many he classes as bulk?? darms 07 March 2002, 15:11 Try ACE in North London Clifford Dealers.... Mention you heard about them on Scoobynet (They will look after you well....) www.ace-audio.com scooby_si 07 March 2002, 21:36 So how much u lot pay i jsut got a quote of £250 for just a blackjack unit installed etc mattski2 03 April 2002, 21:06 Yet again, the _-SCUM-_ strike :( The boys in blue won't come through, I have very little faith in them :( Essex police are certainly a joke, what where they doing at 8:00pm last night? catching crooks? No, they had setup a hidden speed trap ... fcuking tw@ts. As for _the_ incident last night, I'm glad Alex is ok but this is well and truly out of control. Who the fcuk do they think they are? Is it even worth contacting MP's or the police?? Probably not. Is there nothing that we, as a community, can do? We all must have security measures to some extent but what about getting a ScoobyNet group buy of microdots or wheel clamps etc? Anything that can be done to make the scums life hell is worth it as (if they even bother) the police would have more time. I like the idea Pete Lewis had, make it so that you can turn the engine off via your phone or something... come on guys, we are a resourceful bunch... lets do something about this. (it might be worth teaming up with the Evo/Skyline guys as I'm sure they are equally effected). Does anyone know of any security measures that are worth trying to organise a group buy on? (microdots, smoke system, blackjack etc) Matt http://www.world-data-systems.com/rb5/smallrb5side.jpg [Edited by mattski2 - 3/4/2002 9:08:03 PM] STI5 03 April 2002, 21:09 This is seriously taking the pi**. Need to get some serious weapons in place!!! Anyone up for some pepper spray?? [Edited by STI5 - 3/4/2002 9:12:50 PM] Katana 03 April 2002, 21:26 what where they doing at 8:00pm last night? :D I think all the police force were in Guildford for some reason last night. I have not seen a single cop patrolling on foot for a long time in my area. Most of them seems more interested in catching me in my fully legit scooby. [Edited by Katana - 3/4/2002 9:27:04 PM] mattski2 03 May 2002, 09:51 check this out guys... http://www.credexltd.co.uk/ I like the idea of the one with the pager... Perhaps one of those, blackjax, disklok, tracker and an alarm will slow them down enough. Matt. http://www.world-data-systems.com/rb5/smallrb5side.jpg [Edited by mattski2 - 3/5/2002 9:52:06 AM] |
