Cool

Just swapped from 215/45/17 to 215/40/17 and changed the springs from Eibach's (which I didn't realise were on there) to H & R.

The difference is subtle but worth it IMO.

Car is about 10-15mm lower than on the Eibach's, ride may be slightly firmer or it could be my imagination.
Eibach's are for sale £70. If I can find some wheels I like the Racelines will be too. Off to get the geometry done...
Cheers.

Dont know how old they are but I've had the car a year. Cleaned the dust off and they look just like new. I'd previously ordered an new set from Grahame Goode and they only list one type for all euro models, so should fit.

Dean, you couldn't do me a favour could you? and measure between the wheel centres and the arches, my car's here http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...threadid=76473
I just fitted Eibachs and it didn't look much lower to me, but saying that it doesn't lookan awful lot different to yours.

Dean where did you get the springs?
I think I'd rather get the H+R ones same as you if they drop the car that "extra" bit

I didn't measure very accurately before but it was about 350mm all round on Eibach's, now its 335mm front and 325mm rear.
The H & R were from RSR tyres in Sutton.

Ron, I dont think there's alot in it. Mine just didn't look right with the lower profile tyres (too big a gap), but I'm happy with it now. Yours looks great so I wouldn't worry about 10mm difference.
Here's some pics at the same angle as yours. Cheers.
