Can the orange indicator lense on Morrette's as fitted to MY02 be changed?

Has any one done it?

I would like them to be clear, and then use the new silver/orange bulbs as I think it would look good on my silver car.

Don't pick the car up untill Friday so I can't check it out, but was going to order the bulbs today...won't bother if it cant be done.

sorry for not replying sooner...F#cking ISP wouldn't let me connec so went to a mates with same ISP and SAME problem - Lineone/Tiscali is cr@....eer better not say what I think, don't want scoobynet to get hassle!
Just used IE wizard to join me up with ukonline so I've got net access for now.

Yeah pick it up 9am Friday...don't think I'll get much work done that day!
No joy with the Morrettes then :(

Forgive my ignorance, but some of the images I have seen of cars for sale on the Subaru UK web site seem to have clear/white indicator lenses in the Morettes. Doesn't look like a trick of the light. Also, the official UK Impreza accessory brochure seems to show clear Morette indicator lenses.

On the morrettes I have seen it looks like orange is showing through a clear lense.
I'm now beginning to think that they could just be orange coloured bulbs behind a clear lense????

Picked up some clear side indicator's on monday, they come with orange bulbs which you can just make out through the clear lense,intend to use those bulbs which look silver, but are orange when illuminated.
Will have a look at the Morettes when I get the car.
BTW, do you know if the bulbs are easy to change on the Morrettes?
I've bought some vision plus bulbs(dips & mains) but forgot to take them up to Bentley's before the Morrettes are fitted...doh!

Just guessed it myself!

Only thing that made me think different was that I remember a thread about converting orange-to-clear indicators...must have been the older model or something that I was confusing it with!

So the silver/orange bulbs will do the trick!

I'd better get them ordered tonight...

Do get the dealer to fit the bulbs because they are not the easyest in the world

Yeah, I'm going up to Bentley's tomorrow in the hope that they havent been fitted yet. Was told they would be fitted Tues/Weds so I could still be in time to get the VP bulbs in.
