I took a centre interior light off a scrap one, the one with two small lights. I want to install it as it's quite useful but how??? It's got two screws and i have to cut out the top. But my car already have the wires pre-installed with the screw holes?? or should i leave it? and use a torch?????

That's an idea I've had myself. What sort of a car/model did you get the light from? Whereabouts in the roof was it (middle/front)? I've got a sunroof so I popped the switch out and felt aroound the roof, but I couldn't find much sign of any mounting points. It should be easy enough to run a wire from the existing centre light for power though.

i have a n reg uk model and got it from a sti where the light fits at the front. i have an existing one in the middle but its completely useless in the back.
