Hi,

My new imported MY02 WRX arrives tonight !! and I need to have a CAT 1 alarm installed. I am thinking about a Toad a606 or a Clifford 600.

I would prefer the Clifford system with the Blackjax option and have read many posts about the importance of having the Clifford system installed by someone who knows what they are doing - can anyone recommend a good VSIB accredited installer here in Scotland or should I drive down South to have it installed by Max? I have spoken to Toad and they can fit the alarm at my house. Any recommendations or experiences with these types of alarms being fitted in Scotland?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Cheers

Gavin.

Gavin

Really any VSIB registered installer should be okay as they have to work to an industry standard. They also have there work checked. After I had my Clifford installed I had a call from the VSIB asking me if I was happy with the work carried out etc and other questions like was my car left in a clean condition.

You can find a complete list of VSIB registered installers here......http://www.vsib.co.uk
