I am off to France in the car on Friday and am wondering whether anyone might lend/ rent me their ski rack for the week. I promise to look after and not attempt to use it for sledging in the late evening It is just to hold two pairs of skis for me and the missus. Not too excitied about the £100 plus needed to purchase one...

I have

1. a set of ski holders but not sure I have the keys ( I will check ) they attach to a set of bars

2. a Thule roof box 1/2 roof width

I DONT HAVE A SET OF BARS THAT WILL FIT a PRE MY01 car though

If you can collect and leave me a deposit there yours rent free

I've got Thule bars for a pre 01 that lock to the roof. Also a Thule roof box that should fit skis.

In Peterborough though so not very convenient........

I knew Scoobynet would help me out in my hour of need

I have Thule bars to fit the car but not the "feet" needed to attach the bars to the roof, or ski holders for the skis...

Alistair - I think Peterborough is going to be too far seeing as I leave Friday a.m. and have another 300 things to sort out before I go unfortunately ( ) but thanx for the offer!

Phil - I guess you have the kit for a MY01 so it won't fit my car

Thanks a lot for the offers though anyway. If I had been a little more organised I could have sorted this out earlier!
