Does anyone know where you can get replacement remote fobs for a Conlog alarm system? The system was fitted as standard to my mates Golf GTI and acts as an alarm and immobiliser overriding VW own key chip immobiliser. The remote has four metal connectors at the bottom for de-activating the immobiliser.
Apparently Conlog went bust about six months ago and nowhere seems to have replacements.

 

Can't the VW garage source any for you?? You could try a scrapyard.

We tried the VW garage and they pretty much said "you're fu**ed mate", very helpful I don't think.

The obvious solution would be to rip it out and get a new one, but it's a "black wire" alarm, so everything looks the same
