I know this will have been done to death but here goes...

I'm looking at upgrading the brakes on my MY01. I will be taking it on track days and so I need a setup that will not need changing every event (at least 3 track days and all the road driving during a year would be a forecast for use).

I don't mind changing pads between track and road use and I can't afford a AP/Brembo/Alcon setup.

The options currently under consideration are :-

Godspeed big discs, Mintex 1144

TSL Group N grooved discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads

I'd be putting braided lines and at least DOT 5.1 fluid on board too.

Any help deciding or a completely different choice would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Just a note on the fluid...

I had braided lines put on mine yesterday so need new fluid. I went for the Silkolene Pro Race fluid which is only DOT 4 but highly recommened by TSL and ScoobySport.

Unhappy

I looked at Hi-spec, but above my budget. The missus would kill me if she knew I was spending that on 'bloody brakes'.
