Just read some stuff on the Legacy with Subaru's new 3 litre flat 6. Only 20mm (thats less than an inch to all you Poms!) longer than the former unit bla bla - I assume this is referring to the 2.5l.

Now, I was thinking... maybe Subaru will do the decent thing and stick the engine in a scoob... and bolt on two turbos. It might even make that lardy-4rsed new car go fast!
