Default House/ street enquiries

We're looking at moving soon and have seen an ieal house which we want to enquire about.
We phoned the estate agent up today and he's comming to do a valuation on ours this week.
Is there a website that if you enter the address you can find if there have been any burglaries/ problems/ etc as we don't want to move and then find out it's a high risk area

cheers

Drive round the area at different times of day, that's what i did with my house, around mid to late evening especially when you might get groups of kids/drunks around causing trouble

The new house is around the corner from where we are now so the actual area we know isn't bad.
The house in at the end of a cul de sac so it's awkward to try to keep passing as it'll look suspicious
We did this with our current house before moving in 10 years ago and it seemed a quiet lane but it's now become a rat-run for bloody taxis
We're just sick of our neighbours where we are (and the rat-run) with them making a mess of their gardens/ house exteriors which then affects our property which is the main reason for moving - we just don't want to end up in a house which is a target for yobs, etc

tried upmy street.com for our own and it says we're all comfortable, due to retire, have savings, etc - so not that accurate

we're seeing the agent tommorow for a valuation on ours and it's the same agency that's selling the other house so we're going to arrange a viewing for the weekend
