my96 jap impreza wrx abs y /n ?

Hey lads james ere, im new to all this forum craic so bare with me,
iv a 96 jap import wrx, my question is concerning the brakes,did my model come with abs brakes ? some people say yes!!! some say no !!!

open your bonnet and have a look and see if ya have a abs module below your airbox

just checked, nope none there.

suppose it was a stupid kinda question, thanks for your help!!!

ABS seemed to be an option on early wrxs.
my 93wrx doesn't have it but my mates 94 wrx did
