I'm thinking of buying a second hand LHD Audi TT coupe or Roadster.
These cars can be picked up very cheap around 12k.....for 2-3 year old car..
Now i don't mind driving a left hand drive TT and i know thats all they made for the first year or so Anyway.
Does it make any difference to your insurance or do you get stung on ya premium ???

Think that they do charge more for LHD and some companies won't touch LHD cars.

Of course the saving you make in purchase price might balance out any loading for it being LHD.

Yes it will, as you will not be able to overtake a car without sticking 3\4 of your car on the opposite side of the road to take a look.

Bigger risk=Higher premium

I've had some quotes today and it made no difference at all LHD or RHD.
Tryed with several companys and seems to be the same...did get some very competitive quotes.
