I have just ordered a UK Sti and have been told that it is fitted with a M30 Sigma alarm. As I am an alarm engineer by trade and the car is on the drive i wish to set up a link with the house alarm (Which is on Police Responce). Is there an output (either N/C or N/O or a switch to ground) from this unit and if so will it be used for the Tracker?

Any help would be appreciated.

earth trigger from alarm at 1 amp. what sort of output is needed may have to fit relay

Earth trigger will do fine. It is going to fire a standard Visonic transmitter with a receiver in the house, so if car alarm goes of so does house alarm, voice message, police responce...

Anybody done this before??

I have same type of house alarm which rings my mobile etc. I have a wireless motion detector which I place in the car at night, it is set as a latched device and rings my mobile if it is triggered. I have not had any false alarms, I thought drops in temperature over night may effect it but so far no problems.
