Fuel pressure change with pump change?
Hey there,
As I'm no fluids/pressure expert, I have a question regarding change of pump but FPR stays the same.
I'm changing from an uprated pump to a Bosch Motorsport but the SX reg will stay the same, will the fuel pressure at zero be the same, ie 3.0 bar pressure?
The pump flows alot more fuel per hour but I'm thinking the reg will ditch what it dont need - It will be going for remap but wonder what she'll run like to remap location? I could turn the reg down a little if it does make a difference.

Cheers lads...Mark, you must spend 'ours on here! lol.
I'll check before I take her for remap and adjust zero pressure to correct setting as I have boost and fuel pressure gauges...after that, its got be remap time to correct the fuel pressure drop at 5500 that cant cope with Garrett hybrids...even on uprated road pump, Bosch motorsport pump is about 3 times the size those, does that mean 2 mile per gallon lol?
