Always admire the wildlife stuff.
Puffin and the last one prompted a recall of the top one on this page:

(Some stuff on the site is NSFW as are some of the links)

Very nice Ian :thumb: Even the juv little owls look peed off :lol1:

I had a nice little moment with 3 peregrine falcons on Saturday. Tried for a repeat on Sunday, but only saw one, and got soaked by a downpour.

Will post some pics on here, when I get them sorted...

Like you, I love all birds of prey, but they're all such s*ds to photo!

Anyway, here's a few from Saturday:

I assume the first one is the juv. as the beak lacks the yellow parts. None of them were happy to see me wandering along, I know that much! What a racket! :lol1:

Good time for juvenile birds at the moment too. Took these of a juv robin in my garden over the weekend:

Got myself a little one-man hide, which is currently set up in the garden. Allows me to get pics of these cheeky fellas, and also of birds which are normally extremely shy...

A bird often behind people's reports of a very colourful bird seen in their garden, that must be rare, right? :) Not rare, just shy, but a carefully placed pile of peanuts and a bit of patience can reveal the mystery... a Jay.

They're even worse than jays for b*ggering off when anyone strays near. Nice shots :thumb:

The only decent(ish) green woody shots I've managed so far were of a juvenile at a local reserve, when it didn't seem too confident at flying, and kept flying only a few yards further down the path as I tried to creep up on it.

Maybe if I rig up a big ants nest in the garden, I can attract one to pose for me out there... :D
