Default what is a scooby timing belt made from ? my mate reckons its ....

Kevlar ?

is he on drugs . but to prove him wrong i need to know what they are made of ????

rubber with steel reinforcement ?

kevlar is the yellow weave in the belts usually

so yes hes correct,,,, kevlar when in carbon ( which i think your wondering about ) is the yellow weave again and stops the slight flex that makes the carbon snap over time doe to it being soo stiff anyway if thats what your thinking abiut

The crinkly bits are woven ginge.(unbreakable, but expensive)

You can get a kevlar belt, however, the OE ones are not made of kevlar (although it is possible there is some in it)
