Got my first DSLR, 350D, in April and havent used it as much as Id like. My mate invited me to join him at Silverstone yesterday and was a good day out. Damn those cars are loud and Im now a bit sunburnt :)
Learnt two lessons in taking pics of motorsport - one I need a bigger lens. My 70-200 is a bare minimum - you need 300-400 to get decent shots. Two - whilst easier to pan a fast shutter speed just makes cars look stationary and you lose the feeling of speed.
Anyway onto the pics. I havent made any changes so these are as they came off the camera. Some are from when I used mates 30D also:
