I've been insured with ecarinsurance.co.uk for the past 12 months for my 2000 UK Turbo with 6 points @ £1800.

I've now had the 6 points wiped :thumb: but just picked up another 3 for a TS10.

So I'm 22, will have 2 years no claims (no losses, accidents etc) 3 points for TS10 and my new quote to stay with the same company has gone to £3665!!!

How does that work? I was paying less to have double the points?!!

I cant afford to pay more than £1800 a year for my insurance so I have to find somewhere that will cover me for that or less otherwise no more scoobys for the next 5 years

the 6 points may have been wiped from ur license
they are on the license 3 yrs can be removed at 4 but insurance count them for 5 yrs hence ur are now in effect at 9 points with the ins company

Nah mate they have been there for 5 years already so are completely removed, my license now only has the 3 points for the TS10 for my renewal quote

try keith michaels insurance and ask for gary...fellow scooby owner,im sure he will do better for your quote...
